Our partnership with the Y.E.S.
The Juvenile Crime Prevention Program has partnered with Young Educated Sisters (Y.E.S.) founded by Elaine Lee. She has a passion for helping others which lead her to starting her own business Young Educated Sisters (Y.E.S.) to help young adults learn valuable life skills. The participants male and female will be involved in the etiquette classes; these classes were designed for the youth to educate in all areas of etiquette from walking and talking, to dressing, eating and table manners. The schedule and dates for these classes are TBD.

Field Trips & Outdoor Activities
JCPP also offers a variety of different outings and activities for the participants to be involved in. The field trips will consist of many different types of activities including sports, fun and recreational events. We here at JCPP  feel that this gives the young adults an outlet to express themselves in a more positive and fun way while also building social skills with fellow peers and channeling their energy into an interest or activity. Below are some of the activities the program has to offer:

  • Boxing
  • Hiking
  • Camping
  • Horseback riding
  • All-terrain vehicle (ATV) riding on 48.5 acres of land
  • Dave & Busters
  • Cookouts
  • Swimming
  • Theater

Prison Tours

The Juvenile Crime Prevention Program prison tour program has been implemented to show the young adults the harsh presentation of the realities of prison life.  We feel that exposing them to the living conditions, inmate stories and the possible results of negative actions and behaviors will cause them to rethink their current path of destruction. Below are some of the details of the tours:

  • Tour of the facilities
  • Lockdown measures
  • Daily inmate life
  • Discussions with the Warden and Correctional Officers
  • Inmate stories
  • An actual walk through demonstration as if the participants are being processed in the Prison as inmates
